About

Julia Jarrett is a broom maker and fiber artist based in Savannah, Georgia. Her work honors the rich traditions of heirloom handcraft while pushing the boundaries of fiber art through sculpture, ritual objects, and intentional design.

Rooted in the belief that there is magic in the mundane, Julia’s practice seeks to elevate everyday tools—like brooms, brushes, and hearth objects—into vessels of reverence and care. Through traditional crafting methods and a deep connection to natural materials, she invites a renewed respect for the objects that support our daily lives.

Her work is crafted by hand, nurtured by nature, and shaped by slow processes that center sustainability, spirituality, and beauty. Each piece is a quiet act of devotion—an offering to the spaces we call home.

Currently in residence at the SCAD Alumni Atelier in Lacoste, France, Julia is developing a new body of sculptural work inspired by the land and its rhythms. This season of making is rooted in exploration, deep listening, and the ongoing journey of finding enchantment in ordinary moments.
